A better coating system for cabinetry
Cabinets are touched, cleaned, bumped, and exposed to moisture every day. Ordinary wall and trim paint was not designed for that job.
We use ICRO professional Italian wood coatings rather than typical house paint. Our fully catalyzed Signature 2K Finish System is our standard recommendation for kitchens and other high-use cabinetry.

Beautiful results begin with the work beneath the finish. We do not skip the steps that determine adhesion and longevity.

Protect
Floors, counters, walls, and the surrounding work area are carefully covered.

Disassemble
Doors and drawer fronts are removed, labeled, and prepared for finishing.

Clean and prepare
Surfaces are degreased, sanded, and checked before coating begins.

Prime
A professional bonding and tannin-blocking primer is applied as appropriate.

Spray finish
Cabinet boxes, doors, and drawer fronts receive a smooth professional finish.

Reassemble
Doors, drawer fronts, and hardware are reinstalled before final inspection.
Most kitchens are completed in approximately 4-5 days, depending on project size and scope. All spray work is completed on site with professional equipment and careful containment.

Understanding Painted Oak
Paint changes the color, not the natural grain.
Oak has a deep, distinctive wood-grain pattern. Once painted, that pattern will still be visible unless grain filling is specifically included in the project scope.
Grain filling can greatly reduce the visible texture, but it may not eliminate every trace. We explain the expected result before work begins so you can choose the finish that is right for your home.

Sexy Decor is a women-owned and operated specialty finishing business serving homeowners throughout Arizona. We focus on preparation, coating knowledge, precise spray application, and a result designed to hold up in real homes.

What clients ask before booking
How long does a kitchen usually take?
Most kitchens are completed in approximately 4-5 days. Larger projects, repairs, special finishes, and added scope can affect the schedule.
Do you spray everything on site?
Yes. Spray work is completed on site using professional equipment, detailed masking, and careful containment of the work area.
Will oak grain still show after painting?
Yes, unless grain filling is included. Paint changes the color but does not remove oak's natural grain pattern. Grain filling reduces the texture but may not eliminate it completely.
What must be done before you arrive?
Cabinets, drawers, and counters must be emptied. Food, grease, grime, dust, and debris must be removed, and floors must be clean. If hardware installation is included, all hardware must be on site when we arrive.
How is pricing determined?
Every project is quoted individually based on size, existing condition, finish system, color plan, repairs, and the exact scope of work.
